Frequently Asked Questions
How do you track and forward calls to me?
We display a unique toll-free 800 number for each participating advertiser that we then track each time it is dialed. We charge you each time someone calls your unique 800 number (see
valid phone calls). All the calls to that number are then forwarded to you exclusively.
Can I just do the Pay-per-call without bidding within the Pay-per-click (PPC) Network?
The 800 numbers linked to the Pay-per-call program appear within the PPC listings. If you aren't actively bidding and appearing within the listings then your 800 number won't appear either.
On what websites do the Pay-per-call numbers appear?
Currently
the 800 numbers will only appear with the PPC listings on
Compareinterestrates.com and
Comparelenders.com.
Can I have my own phone number appear instead of Loanbright's 800 number?
The only way we can track phone calls is by using our special tracking 800 numbers so it would be impossible to replace these with a mortgage company's own 800 number.
What happens exactly when a consumer calls the 800 number listed with my PPC listing?
The caller first hears a message warning them the call may be recorded. Then your phone will ring. After you pick up the phone you will hear a short message "call from Loanbright", then the consumer will be connected to you as any normal phone call.
What if the caller calls me again using the special 800 number listed with my company?
You are only charged for unique calls. In other words if we identify the same phone number calling you multiple times you would only be charged for the initial call (see valid phone calls).
What kind of reports will I receive?
There are two reports you will receive. One is the Call Notification report (example):

This will be emailed to you immediately after every phone call. The second report will be at the end of the month detailing every
valid phone call that you will be charged for.
Can I have the calls recorded?
Yes, we offer everyone the ability to record the incoming phone calls at no charge. Once the call is completed a .wav file containing the entire conversation is attached to the call notification email sent to you.
What if people call me after hours?
You are charged for all calls that come in 24/7. Most callers will leave a message asking for a call back with rates. You can also use the caller ID information provided in the Call Notification report to follow-up. Currently 90% of calls come in Mon - Fri and 84% come in from 8AM to 6PM.
How am I billed for the calls?
Currently we issue invoices at the end of each month for all valid phone calls. It is not connected in any way to the money you have deposited to pay for your PPC Network charges. The current charge for each call is a flat $25.00.
How do I signup?
If you are currently a Loanbright PPC Advertiser you just need to notify us at paypercall@loanbright.com with your customer ID, the number you want calls forwarded to and whether or not you want calls recorded. If you are not a PPC customer you will need to register for that first.
Any Best Practices or tips?
- Forward the calls directly to a loan officer - not an operator.
- Keep your rates up-to-date on the PPC Network.
- Keep all your Call Notification reports to track how many closed loans you generated from the calls.
- Use the caller ID information to see which states are generating the most calls and bid appropriately.
- Keep your voice mail recording short and direct to help capture more after-hours messages.
- Limit the number of rings till voicemail picks up. Callers will often give up after 5 or 6 rings.
- Have the calls sent directly to your local number rather than your toll-free number and incurring charges.
Valid Phone Call
- A call that is over 30 seconds in length
- A call that is answered by your company in person or by your voicemail
- Only the first call from a particular phone number / caller ID within a 30 day period
