Russell Straub

Founder, President, Chief Executive Officer

Russell Straub is a founder of LoanBright. He brings a strong diverse background of technical, sales, financial and Internet experience to the company. Prior to Loanbright Russ's most recent position was General Manager of the Colorado office of 1st New England Mortgage Corp, where he had profit and loss responsibility for all facets of the operation. He was also a founding partner of Mile High Online, a leading Denver, Colorado Internet Service Provider where he was in charge of sales, marketing and operations. Russ is also a former Professor from Northeastern University and started his career as a member of the elite Manufacturing Management Program with General Electric Company. Russ holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University.

Mark Barlow

Founder, Vice President, Chief Technology Officer

Mark Barlow is a founder of LoanBright. He has a broad information technology background with 15 years of experience. At LoanBright he is in charge of software development and technology. Prior to founding LoanBright Mark held senior positions at Ben & Jerry's, Burton Snowboards and Digital Equipment Corporation where he designed and wrote decision support systems and planning applications for manufacturing. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Vermont.

David Black

Founder, Director

David W. Black is a founder of LoanBright. He brings 18 years of mortgage banking experience to the company. David is President of 1st New England Mortgage Corporation. Under his leadership, 1st New England Mortgage closed over $3 Billion in residential mortgage loans. David is a past director of the Massachusetts Mortgage Association and has been active in industry groups and lobbying efforts. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Vermont.
